Specific Workshop Associate Members of Eclipse Department of IOTA/ME was held on Friday, August 24 of the year 2014 at Geophysics Institute of Tehran University. This workshop was held during 5 hour and taught by Dr. Bahman Hussein Zadeh about pulsating stars physics, observation and data phases of variable stars, using IRAF software and answer to questions from members about eclipse department projects.

Discontinuous Members specific workshop of IOTA/ME was held on 14 and 23 August of the year 2014 in Geophysics Institute of University Tehran. This seasonal workshops was held for teach discontinuous Members. And during last workshop, members know with scientific and executive methods activities in IOTA/ME, and knowing about in the form of project includes transit observations of Exoplanets, types of variable stars and the observation and analysis them and astronomical occultation. At the end of the workshop, members choose their favorite department and then the projects will be implemented over the next year. Members at the end of a year of their projects in the form of a paper and type of seminar in front of members of the Scientific Committee will provide each department.

The 4th International Workshop on Occultation and Eclipse (2013)

The 4th International conference of occultation and eclipse was held on October 23, 2013. The Conference held by International Occultation Timing Association in the Middle East (IOTA-ME) and sponsored by IAU OAD, HAMI Research Institute, Pars Sky Website, and Ava Star Astronomical Center. About 80 people attended the conference and most of them were graduated students in Physics. The conference’s main language was English.

Workshops on Occultation in Zaferanieh Observatory in Tehran (2011)

The fourth workshop of astronomical occultations was opened with speech of Dr. Mohammad Reza (Pejman) Norouzi in Tehran - Zaferanieh Observatory on 22 July 2011 . The workshop was held in one day and coordinated by International Occultation Timing Association Middle East Section (IOTA/ME) , Center for intellectual development of children and adolescents in Tehran and Avastar astronomical center . 52 persons from Azadshahr, Tabriz, Tehran , Zahedan , Birjand, Ahvaz, Shiraz , Abade, Esfahan , Gonbadekabus , Mashhad , Arak , Gheshm , Talesh , Maraghe, Rasht and Dezful were attened in this workshop.
