Bruce L. Gary
Bruce L. Gary received a B.S. degree in astronomy from the University of Michigan in 1961. He worked at the U. S. Naval Research Laboratory's Radio Astronomy Branch for 2 years, the Arecibo Ionospheric Observatory for 1 year, and the Caltech/Jet Propulsion Laboratory for 34 years. He conducted research as a Principal Investigator in the fields of radio astronomy, aviation safety, atmospheric boundary layer remote sensing, and airborne stratospheric science. Since retirement in 1998 he has become active in the fields of exoplanet transit photometry, all-sky photometry and white dwarf planetary system searches. His backyard Hereford Arizona Observatory (G95) consists of two telescopes used, and is described at Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hereford_Arizona_Observatory).
